A young couple had an heirloom diamond and were looking for a special setting for their engagement ring. They fell in love with a 3 stone Edwardian era ring in our estate collection. While they loved the style, the original ring had a .30ct center stone, but their diamond was 2.7 ct.
The Master, Mr. Soo, was able to transform the antique ring to hold their large heirloom diamond, keeping the side stones in their beautifully intricate settings, replicating the same filigree work for the basket below the new center stone, and reinforcing the shank to provide the perfect amount of balance and security needed to honor this token of love. This integration of two beautiful rings, each with its own history, coming together to become something more beautiful than either on its own-- this tells a story that reminds us of the beauty of marriage.
This is the story of a man who wanted to honor his soon-to-be-fiance's namesake with a beautiful engagement ring that used her mother's diamond in an eighteen karat white gold with a touch of rose gold.
